As a part of my training in crop genetics and genomics to study natural genetic variation in food crops, I have led several outreach activities supported by Nationa Science Foundation-Molecular Cell Biology (NSF-MCB) and NSF-EPSCoR in a variety of community and university events. There are a few outreach activties given below-

  1. Two Days-Natural Genetic Variation in Rice Crop under Environmental Stress: Keys to Improvement in Rice Yield and Grain Quality-2021: 60 (8-12 grade) students and 4 teachers.

  2. Two days- Genetic Variation- The Keys to Crop Improvement-2021: 25 high school students and 4 teachers.

  3. Four Days- Rice: Genetic Variation Student and Teacher Workshop (Arkansas Delta Region)-2019: 8 high school students and 4 teachers.
